Lynne Burrows, MA, LPC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Colorado (#4548)and a National Board Certified Counselor. 

     I am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Somatic Experiencing, Emotional Field Therapy and Thought Field Therapy.  These methods address a variety of issues related to anxiety, phobias, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and auto accident trauma.

Mental health and counseling specializations:

I focus on anxiety and stress, depression, grief and loss, issues of childhood abuse, midlife transitions and couples counseling.  I am a specialist in issues around death and dying, complicated grief and working with those facing the end of life.

Spiritual Counseling:

Blending psychotherapy and spirituality, together we explore your sense of connection to God, your expression of spirit in your life and any special calling you may have to fulfill your sense of mission or purpose in this life.

Body Centered Therapy:

   Using an eclectic approach which includes Neo-Reichian, Hakomi and other forms of body-centered therapy, I work with you to address how emotions are held in the body.  Often we have a good mental understanding of our history and the issues which keep us from moving forward.  Specific tools and techniques I use can assist the body and the nervous system with  releasing mental and emotional blocks,  resolving trauma and moving forward.

  I offer a free one half hour introductory session. This is our time to see if we are compatible and can work together effectively.  If I am not the right person for you I am happy to offer you referrals to other qualified therapists or counselors.  My first priority is seeing that you get the appropriate help you need.
